Secretary ReportCrew, Nearing the end of season 2018 Xmas party & Presso on the Saturday 15th December @ Williams Reserve Sports Club Lennox Head. Same venue as last year. We will turn it on to celebrate some fine achievements for the club in 18.One being 1/3 of the club surfing is ladies , Most of themSurfing Mums. Now that’s a achievement. The improvement in Surfing in our female ranks is awesome.

The ANNUAL Classic we run in August turned 21. Again agreat success.Our new members in our ranks, young guns returning toour ranks such as Alex Glassington & Ben O’Dywer. New crew Such as Reuben Greentree, Martinovich Lads, Nelson Stevens & Jenny Hellyer all figuring in First Finals at club rounds.

The July Club Round had some great photos dished upto us especially from Craig Leete with again some great water shots & people shots such as, that follows.

Secretary Report Con’t Chris & Venessa Cain Family in 2018 sold up in Lennox & moved to Port Macquarie to be close to family. We again wish them the best from the club & will miss the logging style of Cainy @ our club rounds…...

So we ventured South to Yamba for the Yamba Single Finevent in Late Sseptember & all Lennox Crew Figured in Finals. Ladies – Eleanor Robertson Over 40’s, Adele Purbrick, Una Durkin & Meg Smith , Open Ladies.Gary Alford Over 60’s & Wayne Booth Over 50’sAwesome Club Effort… Comp on in June 2019, Was a credit to the Clarence River Longboarders putting this event on for the first year. So some thankyou’s for 2018. Club Rounds

Sunday the 9th September we held our monthly club round at Lennox Main. Gone was the rain, a pristine spring day sun & plenty of it , favorable winds tides & some swell. Came together to make it a fun morning. 30 members surfed.

Stand out was young Nathan Mackenzie surfing his new Amos longboard & threading it with style winning both his heat & First final.Another piece of the morning was the donation to representatives from The NSW Cancer Council, Lennox Surf lifesaving club & the Disabled surfing association .Monies collected from our Longboarding event in August. November RoundSunday 11th November Finally a Sunday round for the Club, October round was cancelled because of Sunday blowouts. So 30 CREW turned up at Lennox Main to surf our final round for 2018.Conditions were small 2- 3ft with a incoming tide late morning & favourable winds for all the first rounds. Standout longboarding full of noseriding was Alex Glassington but Winning the Firsts was Will Petrie he did some great maneuvers to pip Alex , so 1 & 2. And the stand out lady was again Jenny Hellyarrelishing in the small conditions matching it with the Guys.The BBQ Again was undertaken by the Will Petrie , we thanks him for 2018 feeding all the crew at rounds. And thanks goes to Grant Ryan & George Leslie Comp Dir-ecting for 2018 always appreciated.Winners of the Final Vouchers from Lennox Surf were Una Durkin & Grant Ryan. We thank all our club support for 2018.Special thanks goes to Criag Leete for all the Water Pics for the round & for all 2018, some real classy upclose shots our there surfing. Tribute to the Lennox Surfing Mums.....It's October already & we're Having a deferred Oct club round this Sunday the 21st. October Beach Weather on the weekendshas been fairly wild. So I decided to send in a story of some of the Lennox Crew venturing south to Yamba for a LongboardingSingle Fin event, their first event for the local longboarding club Clarence Head Longboarders, On the Weekend of Septem-ber 22- 23 , . 4 Lennox Ladies went, Eleanor Robertson, Una Durkin, Meg Smith & Adelle Purbrick. All surfing mums & All got into finals for the Ladies, great effort & To top this off. The 2 guys from Lennox Gary Alford & Wayne Booth also qualified for Finals. All in all a great weekend surfing event for the Clarence Head Longboarders Yamba & a worthy result from the Lennox Club, ALL in finals.
