Mind mapping – students visually organizes the ideas gathered. (Assessment for learning) Reflections The word erosion was connected instantaneously with the words like “ kayyala” and planting trees. So the theoretical base had to be built up and focused on it. Mind mapping clarified some critical questions on agents of erosion. Lubaba asked why wind and soil erosion is not coming under geological erosion as these agents part of nature. Almost 30% of students did not establish proper connections in the mind map. Extended activities : Prepare 5 multiple choice questions based on the class( These questions can be used for assessment of learning in the next class)

Name of the Unit : Soil health Management

Date :

Learning outcome : Student should be able to observe , make and present report on the

types of soil erosion.

Expected Products : Mind maps, lecture notes

Process Assessment

Introduction – a set of probes like what is the

meaning of erosion? What is the visual sign of

erosion in a piece of land? etc.

Consolidation of answers on the board

(Assessment as learning)

Discussion on the types of soil erosion using

Power point presentation.

Mind mapping – students visually organizes

the ideas gathered. (Assessment for learning)

Reflections

The word erosion was connected instantaneously with the words like “ kayyala” and planting

trees. So the theoretical base had to be built up and focused on it.

Mind mapping clarified some critical questions on agents of erosion. Lubaba asked why wind

and soil erosion is not coming under geological erosion as these agents part of nature. Almost

30% of students did not establish proper connections in the mind map.

Extended activities : Prepare 5 multiple choice questions based on the class( These questions

can be used for assessment of learning in the next class)
