  • Did you guess the Theme of the Week?

    It was….

  • Spelling Test

Using this test sheet, or your own, complete a spelling test of your list words.

If you can be tested by someone else in your household, this should be fairly easy!

If you don’t have anyone to test you, you can:1. Leave your list words in one room2. Read a word3. Walk to your test sheet to write it down4. Repeat.

    Good luck!

  • Mathematics Test 17

Find a quiet area, without distraction, were you can do your test. Complete questions 1 to 20 on Test 17 and upload to your Class Dojo Portfolio.

  • Laugh, Play ‘n’ Create

Learn how to play a new card game! Teach it to a member of your family, or film yourself making a ‘tutorial’ to show others.

Enjoy the experience! Playing cards together is a great way to connect and make memories.

  • HASSLog into the school’s resource History Mysteries.

  • HASSTASK 4: Reflect

Now that you understand ‘push’ and ‘pull’ factors in migration we can group some of these reasons together. Some are:

Environmental reasons – people move because of natural disasters or attractionsPolitical reasons – people move because they are not free and want to beSocial reasons – people move because they want a better quality of life or live in their own wayEconomic reasons – people move because of jobs or wealth

Write a reflection outlining what you have learned about Immigration. Define a pull factor and a push factor, giving real life examples of what these could look like. Post this to your Dojo Portfolio for your teacher to see.
