Set Induction(5 minutes)

1. Teacher shows a video about fresh fruits to pupils.1. Pupils are required to listen and watch the video.1. Teacher asks several questions about the video. For examples :1. What can you see from the video?1. What are the fruits that you can find in the video?1. Teacher then introduces the topic of the lesson.

1. To introduce the topic of the lesson.

Development(30 minutes)1. Teacher recites a jazz chant and asks pupils to listen carefully.1. Teacher then asks pupils to follow after her.1. Teacher then elicits a few words from the lyrics and explain the meaning of the words. For examples :tasty, juicy, round 1. Teacher then calls a few pupils to recite the jazz chant with the correct pronunciation, intonation and rhythm.1. After that, teacher distributes a paper to each pupil.1. Pupils are required to produce a bookmark by drawing their favourite fruit and write one simple sentence about their drawing.1. Teacher then asks pupils to colour and decorate their bookmark according to their own creativity.1. Pupils are free to ask questions and help from the teacher.

Assessment(20 minutes)1. Teacher picks a few pupils to present their bookmark in front of their classmates.1. Pupils are required to explain about their drawings and read aloud the sentence that they wrote on their bookmark.1. Teacher discusses with pupils and make correction if there are errors present.
