there will be explanations in Romanian (if needed)ProcedureACTIVITY I Warmer Simon says sau Hangman Aim: - to warm Ss up; Time: 5 min.Procedure: Students write four or five commands they have learned in class down in a notebook (i.e. touch your nose, clap your hands, count to five, etc.). Once the students have finished, T explains the rules of Simon Says and makes sure they understand that the student must say "Simon says..." and that they are not to perform the action if the student doesn't say this. Students should use the commands they have written down. Students are eliminated if they do not perform the correct action, or if they perform an action when the student hasn't says "Simon Says..." The student who wins the game should be the next to go. If more than two students are left after the five commands, T can give a few extra to eliminate others.

Interaction: Ss-Ss; Ss- TACTIVITY II Speaking ( group work)Aim: - to practice the first conditional clause by matching the 2 halves Time: 10 min.Procedure: T. group the Ss in 2 groups and gives them cards with beginnings and ends of the sentences they have to make. The team who end first , read loud the sentences and if the sentences are all correct , they win the game.Interaction: Ss Ss; Ss T

ACTIVITY III Speaking (pair work)Aim: - to choose the correct form of the verbTime: 10 min.Procedure: T gives the Ss handout 2 and asks the Ss to work on the handouts individually, then exchange the handouts with their partners and correct each others mistakes. Interaction: Ss Ss; Ss T

ACTIVITY IV Speaking (pair work)

Aim:- to practice with 1st type of conditional clausesTime: 5 min. Procedure: T. gives the Ss handout 3 and asks them to work in pair completing the sentences. T. checks answers with the whole class. Interaction: Ss Ss; Ss - TACTIVITY V Speaking ( Whole class)Aim:- to practice the conditional clauses type 1Time: 10 min. Procedure: T. asks the Ss to think of a sentence with if-clause but when nominated say only the half of it and let their colleagues whom they nominate finish it. The one who does not say a correct sentence is eliminated from the game. Ex. S1: If you eat an apple every day.. (and nominates a student to finish his/her

sentence)

S2: You will be healthy. You will have good luck if .. (and nominates)

ACTIVITY VI Writing (pair work)Aim:- to practice writing message using conditional clauses type 1Time: 5 minProcedure: SS are told to write a message to another student which demands an answer. The student who has received the message then writes a reply witch is passed to the original writer.

Ex.: To Maria: If you invite me to your birthday party, I. . and the partner must reply To Claudia: If you .., I will invite you to my birthday party. The students can write to more than 1 partners.
