Teaching and Learning ActivitiesSet Induction: 5 minutes1) Teacher brings in some morning glory flowers and gives to pupils.2) Teacher questions pupils regarding the flower. (eg: How many petals does this flower has? Can you count the petals?)3) Teacher asks the pupils to keep the flowers.

Presentation: 10 minutes1) Teacher allocates the notes on countable and uncountable nouns.2) Teacher sticks a poster on the whiteboard which contain the example of countable and uncountable nouns images.3) Teacher explains the meaning of countable and uncountable nouns based on the notes.4) Pupils are asked to name the nouns on the poster which has been stacked earlier on the whiteboard.

Practice: 20 minutes1) Teacher distributes hand outs consists of True or False questions.2) With teachers guidance, pupils are asked to circle the question with correct answer.3) Teacher gives comments for each question.

Practice: 20 minutes1) Teacher distributes letter cards to each pupil which consists of common nouns. 2) The words in each letter cards are separated with syllable.3) Pupils are asked to join the syllable and spell correctly.4) Teacher corrects the pupils if there are any mistakes.

Production: 20 minutes1) Pupils are asked to stand behind their chairs.2) Teacher gives each pupil with a letter block. (different letters)3) Each pupil is required to give 2 examples of common nouns based on the letter that they get.4) Meanwhile, pupils are asked to list down the examples of common nouns that their friends give.5) Pupils are not allowed to repeat the same example of their friends.6) Pupils who have managed to give the examples of nouns correctly can be sited.
