LESSON FIVE “IRREGULAR PLURAL FORMS”
En Inglés hay algunos plurales que son irregulares, o sea que no se forman con solo agregarles la “S”. Veamos algunos casos:
1. Cuando el singular termina en “Y” antes hay una consonante, se cambia la “y” por “i” y se agrega “es”. (no se cambia cuando va precedida de una vocal). Examples: 1. Library Libraries2. Secretary Secretaries 3. Day Days 4. BoyBoys
2. Cuando la palabra en singular termina en “FE” ésta terminación se cambia por “ves” (agregando la “s”). Example: HousewifeHousewives
3. Otras formas irregulares: En inglés hay unos plurales muy irregulares, pues no aceptan ninguna regla definida. Examples: ManMenWomanWomenPolicemanPolicemen
Escriba al frente de cada palabra el plural respectivo, luego traduzca cada palabra en plural al Español.
