FURTHER GUIDANCE: Message Content Design & Delivery –

PART 1 (30 SECONDS MAXIMUM):

Ô Team and individual introductions in front of your university/high school with your university/high school logo or signage in the background –not an affixed logo; we need to see actual evidence that the team

stood in front of the school or university’s main entrance to take the video shoot (e.g. Hi, we are Team Charter Capital from CharterQuest University/High School -South Africa; I am John, I am Peter, I am

Maggi; and I am Lucy); why you entered as a team (please provide a team rather than individual explanation -although the team’s reasons may reflect your individual reasons); and team’s learning lessons,

hopes and dream –again, of the team, although it may reflect your individual hopes and dreams ).

Part 2 (30 SECONDS MAXIMUM):

Ô Why enter this competition or why vote for us? E.g. Enter ‘The CharterQuest CFO Junior Case Study Competition’ (or The CFO Junior 2021), or Enter ‘The CharterQuest CFO Global Case Study Competition’

(or The CFO Global 2021) To Prepare For Future Leadership! Become A Strategic Business Leader –Register Today! Enter To Showcase Your Finance & Strategic Business Skills! Challenge The Status

Quo, Register Today! Support/vote team CharterQuest, we have the best solutions for the global food and beverage industry…Use anything that is genuine to you but can make a strong case that will earn you

good marks from the examining team and engage your audience -remember you are selling and persuading the public and your peers to follow your ideas!

GENERAL:

Ô Every team member must speak for at least 10 seconds (and during each time a team member speaks, a subtitle bar must appear to highlight the full name of the individual, age, and what you are majoring

in as well as your role in the team (e.g. for The CFO Global: Justice Kalla, 22, Economics Major -Team Leader; and for The CFO Junior Continental: Mike Njela, 17, Grade 12, The Analyst);

Ô The name: ‘The CharterQuest CFO Global Case Study Competition’ or The CharterQuest CFO Junior Continental Case Study Competition’ must be mentioned at least twice in your video (note, the

name of the competition as underlined here should be called in full to avoid being disqualified);

Ô Creativity will be key: take note that your videos will be broadcast on TV and social media, and will also be played for 60 seconds whilst you walk up the stage (if selected in Top 6); for the audience and

judges to become familiar with your creativity outside of the typical stage/formal presentation setting. Ideally, capture some scenes with your background being iconic sites or images of your city or country to

help us show case your city or country to the rest of the world. Snippets of your video will also be used to construct a video promoting the competition.

Your final 60 seconds video will be a combination of the following videos, gleaned from the current champions and other previous finalists: Firstly to promote the team; and then to promote the 2021

edition. So, you are aiming to produce your own video, which aims to (1 – promote team for public votes) and (2) 2021 promo video into a 60 seconds end product video as defined at the beginning

of this document (ensure the footage you submit is raw footage with no music and branding, except for the subtitle bar that must appear to highlight the full name of the individual who is speaking,

age, and what they are majoring (or which grade/class, in the case of CFO Junior) and their role in the team.

The links below are samples from the current champions and other great videos from other finalists. You will need to follow the current guidelines to produce a new 60 seconds Top Team Public Votes (& 2021 Promo) Video:

Finally, separate from your 60 seconds videos, include a separate 2 second clip in which all team members say the words “SEE YOU IN SOUTH AFRICA!” at once. The l inks below are samples

for this:

Please once again, note that not meeting any of the specs e.g. forgetting name tags or subtitle bars, mentioning the name of the competition twice as required can easily disqualify your video and

team!
