Moving minds is an organization that incorporates tutoring and dancing in one. Nowadays, children and adults struggle to learn and preferably choose hands-on or active learning. Our purpose of this company is to change the way people are educated by adding creativity. We do not specialize in a certain age group. We are open to anyone that is willing to learn. Moving Minds would appreciate a Grant for 10,000 dollars from the NEA to help us get started.Moving Minds is community based. We encourage philanthropy in the community as a whole. Any event we hold, twenty percent of our proceeds that we receive from our fundraisers will help fund our company and help fund our community. We strive to teach our students with the best technology and techniques. We wish to change the way our students our taught through movement. Some students don't learn like others do, and it is easier for them to be occupied with something else to retain information. Many students struggle with retaining information because the way they are taught is not necessarily how they would prefer. This is our mission and our purpose. When we teach our dance classes we make sure that all students have the ability to do the dance movements and understand the lessons we teach them. We also offer dance classes and tutoring sessions online in case a student is unable to attend class.At Moving Minds we offer a variety of dance courses and lessons. We offer Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, Interpretive, and Improv. Our dance courses offer a wide range of flexibility levels. Moving minds just isn't about what we offer; its about the lessons that we teach our students that will that they will later remember in life. We also offer lessons in math ranging from basic math skills to intermediate algebra, English, science, and history. We teach a variety of courses to students and adults looking to further enhance their education and knowledge in the things they already have knowledge of. We also offer our applicants and students a place in Moving Minds, after they have completed their sessions with Moving Minds with a job or an internship in teaching positions. The money we will receive from the grant will help fund our employees and help get materials needed. We thank you for your time and consideration in investing in our business.
