Forests are very important resources as they regulate the Earth’s temperature and water cycle. They also

provide us with valuable resources like timber. Therefore it is very important to manage our forests

carefully.


Making the link to my content in the following paragraphs.



Forests have been exploited by Man for food and resources in the past. However, this exploitation is now

taking place at such alarming rates we are losing our forests. Therefore, it is important that we manage our

forests carefully. In this essay, I will be discussing 3 such management strategies.

In conclusion, there are several ways to manage our forests. They are reforestation, controlled logging and

conservation.

In conclusion, I feel that reforestation is the best method out of the 3 mentioned in the essay.

This is because reforestation is a good balance between allowing logging to take place as well as ensuring that

trees are being restored as a sustainable way to manage our forests.

In conclusion, I feel that there is no single best method to manage forests as each of the methods have their own pros and cons. Different methods can be more

effective in different places, so it is important to analyse the situation in a particular place before using a specific method. Sometimes, a combination of methods

could be used to maximize their benefits.
