LIBERTY UNION CLASS OF 2017

On May 21st, the 117 members of the Liberty Union Class of 2017 walked across the stage to receive the the diploma that was 13 years in the making. While every student might of taken a different path to get to this point in their life, on this overcast afternoon, this PRIDE of LIONS entered and exited the gym as ONE. The students have prepared themselves for for their next step in life with the support of their parents, family, teachers, friends and community. Their hard work in the classroom has paid off to the amount of over $800,000 in scholarships. Congratulations Lions! ! !

The 3rd annual Summa Cum Laude Banquet

was held on Sunday May 7th at Christ United Methodist Church in Baltimore. 25 members of the class of 2017

were honored for earning a GPA of 3.70 or higher in their high school career. Just as in years past, the students invited an employee from the school district

who has had an impact on their education. These honored guests represented all district buildings,

as well as, teachers, administrators, counselors and support staff.
