Making Music and Having Fun During the Holidays
L.I.F.E. members have a high level of energy as a standard, but during the holidays that level gets turned up a notch to 11. Here are just a few examples of all the music, fun and fellowship L.I.F.E. members created recently.

Pictured above are some of the Melody Makers of Long Island. The L.I.F.E. Chapter, hosted by Maestro Music, donated six large cartons of non-perishable foods weighing approximately 185 lbs. to Island Harvest during the Holiday.
The Dallas Metro L.I.F.E. Chapter, hosted by Romeo Mu-sic, collected hundreds of dollars worth of toys to benefit the Toys for Tots foundation.

This is the opening and closing song for the movie “Song of Love” (1947) about the life of Robert Schumann, his wife
Clara Schumann, and Johannes Brahms.
Starring Katharine Hepburn, Paul Henreid, & Robert Walker, it is considered one of the best music bios Hollywood has produced. Träumerei (dreaming or day-dreaming) is from a set of thirteen pieces written for piano in 1838 titled “Kinderszenen”. Here Schumann is providing us with his adult reminiscences of childhood.
Performance: The song has lots of chords but since it is expressive you can slow down when the chords are only one beat apart. Use General Preset # 8 (piano & strings) and press the EASY button for easy chords. “Rit.” means that you gradually get slower and slower. If you want to use a style try Soft ‘n Easy.
