21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite

woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-

possession."

not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."

table." 28 Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is

granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

1. Who do you say that Jesus is?

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" 14 They

replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one

of the prophets."

2. Don’t get distracted.

elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third

day be raised to life.

whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

3. Focus on Jesus.

easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
