Music Club chapter, sponsored by Romeo Music, located in Dallas & Fort Worth, recently participated in the Homes For Our Troops ground breaking ceremony for Spc. Edward Guldin of Lancaster, Texas. e folks at Dallas Metro L.I.F.E. have been supporters of HFOT for many years and have been active in many ways, from fund raising to onsite assistance. Eight Dallas Metro L.I.F.E. members made the 40 mile trip to Lancaster to celebrate the event and represent the entire chapter that has invested time and effort in support of HFOT. “We experience pretty strong emotions at these events. We are so happy to have the opportunity to express our appreci- ation and gratitude toward heroes like Spc. Guldin. It is wonderful to be able to give back and help make their lives easier,” explains Joyce and Dennis Kaplan of DMLMC. “Everyone in the chapter and the staff at Romeo Music contribute to the HFOT effort.” Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit organization founded in 2004 that is strongly committed to building specially adapted homes for the over 1700 Service Members nationwide who have returned home with life-altering injuries post 9/11. HFOT assists these Veterans and their families by raising money, and providing building materials and professional labor to coordinate the construction of a home that provides maximum eedom of movement and the ability to live more independently, at NO COST to the Veterans served. www.hfotusa.org

Here’s a patriotic song you can you can use for Independence Day. Since it’s June you have plenty of time to get it ready for July 4th. At first you might think you should play this song to a march beat. It can be good with a march beat (Thundering) but to really make it exciting, play it using the Broadway Opener style. Rhythm Preset/Style Setup zero is great so “go for it”. That is to say, play it loud and proud!
