National PTA is the conscience of the country for issues affecting children. Through advocacy and family and community education, National PTA has established programs and called for legislation in areas including early childhood education, health and wellness programs, family engagement, school safety, juvenile justice and arts in education. As a sponsor, Lifetouch plays an important role in supporting the work of the association to take action and make a difference in the lives and futures of our nation’s youth.

For more than 80 years, Lifetouch has been trusted in schools and communities across the country to record the growth and maturing of children. National PTA applauds and validates the important work of Lifetouch and trusts the company with its photography needs. In addition to its support of National PTA, Lifetouch also is committed to giving back to communities in need. As president of National PTA, I had the honor of joining the company and other educators from across America for its 2014 Lifetouch Memory Mission to build a school in the Dominican Republic for the children in an impoverished farming community. Since the inception of the Lifetouch Memory Mission in 2000, Lifetouch has built 11 schools across Haiti and the Dominican Republic as well as helped rebuild a village in war-ravaged Kosovo, repair homes in Appalachia and establish a children’s center in Jamaica.
