A theremin is an instrument that is played without being touched.

This theremin will play different musical notes depending on the amount of light it receives.

2. Use a jumper wire to connect the GND power output on the microcontroller to the negative line on the left long edge of your breadboard.

3. Insert the buzzer into spots E10 and F10 on the breadboard. The buzzer has a small positive sign on the top, and the leg under that is slightly longer. Make sure the longer leg is in spot F10, to the right.

4. Ground the buzzer with a wire from C10 to the long negative row on the left side of your breadboard.

5. Power and control the buzzer with a wire from hole H10 to Pin 12 on the Arduino.

6. Insert the photoresistor in spots E1 and F1 on the breadboard.

7. Provide power to the photoresistor with a wire from H1 to the long positive line on the right side of your breadboard.

8. Add a 10KΩ resistor to your circuit. Insert one end in B1 and the other end in the long negative row on the left side of the breadboard.

This allows the Arduino to record the volt-age drop as electricity flows through the photo resistor.

A 10KΩ resistor will have brown, black, and orange bands as its first three colors on a 4-band resistor, and brown, black, black, and red bands as its first four colors on a 5-band resistor.

9. Connect C1 to pin A0 on the left side of the Arduino with a jumper wire. This will allow the Arduino to measure the changes in resistance across the photoresistor circuit.
