ave you ever marveled at the beautiful glistening plaster wallsof Italy? These ancient walls that bloom even more beautifully withage were plastered with a technique called "Venetian plaster". Youno longer need to travel to Europe for these amazing plasters. Theyhave caught the attention of distinguished interior designers andarchitects throughout America. Vero offers genuine seasoned slakedlime finishes for both exterior as well as interior wall surfaces. Ourplaster finishes cover residential, industrial, and commercialbuildings across the nation. Our most popular product, Antiqua, cancreate either a smooth, suede-like effect or a more mottled andrough form. Some Venetian plasters are polished or "burnished" witha sheen to achieve a marble appearance like Epoca Spatolato.

To apply real lime plasters we use a simple chrome trowelspreading several layers of plaster to the wall, with the last layercreating a decorative effect. This effect created from seasonedslaked lime plaster consists of fine Carrara marble aggregate.When applied, these finishes give a visual depth, richness, a cooltouch, and natural elegance of stone and marble. Over time, as thelime crystallizes in reaction to the air (carbonation), the plasterreturns to its natural state of limestone, creating a wall finish that isstronger and more durable than any painted surface. The initialproduction process starts with limestone rocks from rivers or quarriesin Italy. After a 24 month period, the seasoned limestone turns intoan amazing "lime putty" or "Grassello di Calce" in Italian. Vero'splaster products can be used in a wide range of styles such as OldWorld, Contemporary, Tuscan, Asian, and Traditional. Our fineItalian finishes take an artisan's imagination and create limitlesspossibilities evoking style and grace.

LP is a natural lime plaster suitablefor interior and exterior wall surfaces.The size of the aggregate is betweenAntiqua I and II. NLP is similar in textureto a standard Portland cement 20/30stucco finish. inish is an acrylic protective coating forinteriors and exteriors that containsaggregate to provide a strongfoundation for top coat plaster. It is avapor permeable product that fills andcovers the irregularities on wall surfaces.Finish is used as a crack-resistant basecoat for many of the Vero plasterproducts, and can also be used as afinish coat. When used as a basecoatfor plaster, Finish can be tinted toclosely match the finish plaster coat.

Finish can be applied to plaster,architectural concrete, brick, galvanizedsheets, drywall, wood and previouslypainted surfaces(whitewash/washable/oil,etc.).
