A limestone pavement is a natural landform consisting of a flat, surface of exposed limestone that resembles a pavement. The pavement is eroded by chemical weathering and it is eroded into Clints and Grykes.

Water emanating from karst topography is another type of spring, often called a resurgence as much of the water may come from one or more sinkholes at a higher altitude. The point where the stream flows out from under the ground is called the resurgence.

Malham Cove is a natural limestone formation, known as a national beauty spot, near Malham, North Yorkshire, England. It comprises a huge, curved limestone cliff at the head of a valley, with a fine area of limestone pavement at the top.

Gordale Scar is a dramatic limestone ravine close to Malham, North Yorkshire, England. It contains two waterfalls and has overhanging cliffs of limestone over 100 meters high. The gorge was produced by water from melting glaciers sometime over the last three million years.

They also think too many houses are used for holiday homes. So if you are buying a house in a limestone area like this make sure you live in it most of the year.

Motorists have conflicts with cyclists especially because they nearly cause accidents and sometimes do cause minor injuries. So if you are a cyclist or a motorist make sure you watch for other things on the road that could be dangerous.
