INVITATION TO BIDDERSLA FERIA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT (the District) is accepting sealed bid proposals to construct the LA FERIA ISD – WB GREEN DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS.
SEALED PROPOSALS addressed to Mr. Juan Briones, Board President, at the District Office, 203 E. Oleander, La Feria, TX, 78559, will be received in person until Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. for furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary for construction of the LA FERIA ISD – WB GREEN DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS in accordance with the plans on file at the District Office. At the time stated, bids will be publicly opened and read at the District Office via Zoom Meeting, all bidders on the plan holder’s list will be sent an invitation and password to the bid opening meeting.
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be provided electronically for free by contacting [email protected].
BIDDERS are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. All work shall be completed within FORTY-FIVE (45)calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
BID BOND all bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount.
LA FERIA ISD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder or bidders, who, in the opinion of the District offers the proposal in his best interest. The prices submitted will be unit prices and the award will be based on the estimated quantity of work outlined in the bid form. The work includes installing concrete canastas, aprons, drainage basins and HDPE storm sewer, and SWPPP and dewatering as necessary.
BIDDERS are cautioned that conditional or qualified bids, or bids not in the proper form may be rejected.
