    TD-Synergy Laboratory Information System

Application components are sets of rules that apply to the Logical Tool

Layer refer, and these are rules in which communicate and support certain

data processing systems inside of a physical data processing system. The

Logical Tool Layer utilizes the application components which contain an

essential and precise set of rules for many physical data processing

systemsincluding Hospital Information Systems. A specific example of an

Application Component used in a compliance by means of functions which

carry out rules resulting in an elaborate consolidation of secure web is

    Siemens TD-Synergy Laboratory Information System.

The Laboratory Information System in which Siemens carries out

procedures including supervising all lab operations, simply examining

samples, specimen tracking, and even the delivery of the end results to all

clinical, administrative, and Quality Control (QC) services. Siemens worked

with the TD-Synergy Laboratory Information System to collect data

components in the logical tool layer. The technology that is used is

substantially configurable allowing data to be easily adapted to fit

administrative requirements, which ultimately leads to the delivery of

imaging and messages to the Laboratory Information System at a favorable

pace (TD-Synergy Laboratory Information System). Two of the most

important features that every Health Information System aims for is the end

result to contain high-quality healthcare, and low operational costs. The

Siemens TD-Synergy webpage displays important information that a

Laboratory Information System would aspire to be involved in:

Complete management: TD-Synergy has beendeveloped to support all aspects of the contemporary lab, managing the quality and integrity of test samples, all

phases of testing and result review, and final results

reporting, interpretation, and diagnosis.Strong patient security: TD-Synergy consolidates

medical data on a single, unified platform, enabling uniquepatient identification while ensuring privacy in compliance

with HIPAA (USA) and other countries regulations.Customizable interface: TD-Synergy can be adapted

to meet specific lab workflow needs, ensuring thatprocesses such as test prescription, collection management,

sample reception, and label dispatching all functionefficiently and effectively.

Enhanced quality control: TD-Synergy ensuresconsistency of test results and adherence to laboratory best

practices with comprehensive, autoverification rules andalerts that notify staff when to review certain test results.

    (TD-Synergy Laboratory Information System)

The Laboratory Information System is the backbone of all

management during any and every procedure and analysis. The application

components or logical tool layer must contain basic features carried out by

the execution of laboratory examinations(Winter, Haux, Ammenwerth, Brigl,Hellrung, and Jahn). For example, the lab must receive orders from

physicians and other administrators, receive specimens for testing, use

technology to test the samples given to the lab, collect results from the

device which tested the specimens, compare lab files from patient history,

confirm results from the prior tasks, prepare report in order to get in touch

with the ordering physician, technician, administrator, etc. Finally the last

feature of a Laboratory Information System is to distinguish the proper way

to relay the statistics of the report (Winter, Haux, Ammenwerth, Brigl,

    Hellrung, and Jahn).

Application Components are beneficial in many ways and an array of

environments besides Laboratory Information Systems. Other Information

Systems which include the Logical Tool Layer are Patient Administration

Systems, Nursing Management and Documentation Systems, Provider or

Physician Order Entry System (POE), etc. The application components that

are provided in the Logical Tool Layer provide any HIS access to an easier,

more accessible, less costly way of organizing the Physical Tool Layer! TD-

Synergy conducted an innovative way of their Logical Tool Layer, and

improved communication and support between the Health Information

Structure as a whole significantly more advanced.
