Task Three: A Radio Programme You are going to hear a radio programme about walking in a forest. On the test paper you have 8 multiple choice questions
about the programme. Choose the best response (A, B or C) for questions 10-17. (Place a X in the appropriate
box on your Answer Sheet.) You will hear the recording twice. You have one and a half minutes to read the questions before the
recording starts. 10 With regard to the accident,
Chris A thought he wasnt at fault. B impeded his own vision of the road. C held the steering wheel in a foolish
manner. 11 After the accident, Chris A tried hitch-hiking but without
success. B had 15km to walk down the
mountain. C underestimated the difficulty of
walking though the forest. 12 In connection with joining the
circus, Chloe A used to think that she would be
happy as a lawyer. B took up acrobatics so she could join
the circus. C recognises the radical nature of her
change in occupation. 13 On the arrival of the circus A the law required the animals to be
paraded. B local residents expected a parade to
