Connection Luncheon on February 2

If you are new to LPCC or if you became a member

since November of 2018, we invite you to a lunch-

eon on Sunday, February 2nd at noon following our

worship service. Come get to know our staff and

leaders better. For those who were baptized or

transferred their membership, we want to rejoice

again with you in your commitment to Christ.

Please RSVP on the foyer table or call or e-mail the

office by January 26th.

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading

We need referees. Practices will start on January

20th and our first game will be on February 1st with

the season ending on March 7th. See Aaron

Thursdays at 7 pm starting January 9th. There are 5

days of homework per week in the workbook ($14).

Bible Reading Plans for 2020 are available!

Grow in God’s Word daily in 2020. We have a Chron-

ological Reading of the entire Bible in a year and a

plan to read through the New Testament in a year.

Men’s Night at Oil Belt

Men are invited for a night of worship and fellow-

ship at Oil Belt on Friday, February 7th. “Who’s Your

One?” is the theme for the evening which starts with

dinner at 6 pm, then worship at 7. Matt Merold,

pastor of Bethany Christian Church in Washington,

IN, will be the speaker. Matt’s vision of an outward

focused, evangelistic community of believers has

led a small-town church from 80 to over 1,800 in

weekend attendance. The cost is $20 by 1/31.

Urgent Need for Help at WBCV

LPCC is responsible to fill water mugs and take

them to each resident on the 4th Thursday of every

month. Some of our faithful volunteers are deal-

ing with health issues that prevent them from

being physically able to do this. We weren’t able

to send anyone in December. Men and women are

invited to help monthly on the 4th Thursday from

8:30 - Noon. Sign up if you can help.
