Funeral Volunteers Needed We are looking for 3 groups of about 6 people to help with funerals. Groups can be comprised of families or individuals. Each group will have a contact person. Some of the duties of the group will be to set-up and take down tables for funeral dinner, make coffee if needed, assist caterer, make sure the dining hall has chairs put back for weekend masses and kitchen back in order. The parish secretary will work with the contact person on the details of each funeral and family requests. Sign-up sheet is in the foyer. We would like 3 groups we can rotate from.

Soup for a Cause Thank You to everyone who came and supported the Soup for a Cause last weekend. Also a huge thank you to all who volunteered to help work it. If you won a basket raffle and do not wish to keep the basket please bring it back to church and put it in the kitchen. We will use them again next year.

World Mission Sunday We in the Mission Office want to thank you for being a source of hope in a world that seems more focused on despair. As a result of World Mission Sunday, St. Joseph Parish of Galloway ($274) and St. Ladislaus Parish of Bevent ($970) have helped to support the work of missionaries who serve those most stricken poverty and often suffer persecution. May God bless you for your financial contributions and for all your prayers. We will forward the total to our National Office. The Society for the Propagation of the Faith then has the honor of distributing the funds in support of projects that build God’s kingdom in our midst.
