Our Letter to You, How do you even begin to thank someone who could possibly be giving you the

best gift you've ever received? Even though there are words to describe (literally)

everything, sometimes they fall short when trying to describe how your heart feels. We

can’t begin to understand how difficult this process may be for you, but we you see how

brave you are. To be able to put the needs of your child before everything else and find

the right home for your baby is true love. We want to be able to give a child that same

love, and hope that in getting to know us, we can make this easier for you.

We met in college but started our relationship after graduation. We have been

married for just over 9 years now, and together for around 11. We found our person in

each other. We have always known we were meant to be parents, and a couple years

ago started our journey trying to conceive. When we were unable to, we knew what

we wanted to do- adopt, and immediately were both on the same page with the idea.

We want to build our family through adoption and know how special it will be for our

children to share that bond. Seeing the joys of life through a child's eyes is like no other,

and we can't wait to see these joys. Decorating for Christmas, going to Disney, carving

pumpkins, going to the beach, even going for a simple walk...each one of our adventures

is that much better when being able to experience them with a child. We want it all.

The good, the bad, the pretty, the ugly...but most importantly, the love. We have so much

love to give and love being "Mom" and "Dad". We want to raise our children the way

we have been raised. To understand the importance of being a good person, working

hard, getting a good education, and making the best of the life we are given. We want to

support our children in the decisions they make for themselves, and the paths they take

in life. We will always be there for one another through everything life brings us.

Liz comes from a very close family, where she is one of six kids- three of whom are

adopted. Liz's parents have been married for 50+ years and set the bar high for the

kind of relationship we want to emulate. We live in the same town as Liz's parents and

two of her siblings and are always there for one another and spending time together.

Tim also has a close relationship with his family who live in Wisconsin. He is one of

two children. His parents also have and show the importance of a good partnership as

they too have been married for 40 years. Although distance may separate all of us, we

make the time for multiple visits a year, phone calls, and keep in touch regularly.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us and begin to get to know us. We

hope to be able to share more about ourselves, our goals, our dreams, and our lives

with you. We would love to be a part of your journey.

What I Love About Tim

I am truly a lucky girl because I can

call my husband my best friend. Tim

has a heart of gold and always makes

sure our family is well taken care of.

I know his love will only continue to

grow and I love seeing him as a dad.

Tim is such a hard worker. He

worked in the Financial industry for

many years before branching off and

starting his own business. He knows

that hard work pays off and you can

see that in his work ethic. He not

only works hard in his business but

also in life. He is my go-to guy when

I need anything done or answers to

questions I have. He has a passion

for cooking and really takes pride in

every meal he cooks. He loves

experiencing new cultures and ways

of life and pushes himself outside of

his comfort zone to try new things.

He loves the outdoors- fishing,

camping. hiking, and enjoying life. I

wouldn't laugh as hard or smile as

much as I do if I didn't have Tim.

Whether we're hanging at home,

working on a project, or taking a

road trip, he has a way of making me

enjoy whatever it is we're doing. He

is my sense of calm, my feeling of

home, and my person.

Liz is a people person. She has the most positive, outgoing personality and fantastic sense of humor of anyone I've ever met. She is always up for adventure and I couldn't be happier I'm the one who gets to be by her side through all of it. Our adventures lead us on fantastic vacations, fun get togethers with friends and family, home projects, and a lifetime of memories. No matter what we're doing, if Liz is involved, everyone will have a good time. She puts everyone before herself and really cares about how people are doing and how she can help. She taught Special Education for many years before joining me when I started my business. Helping children grow in all possible ways is a passion of hers and she is a great mother. She loves celebrating every holiday- from decorating the house, baking a delicious dessert, to finding the perfect Christmas tree, she loves doing it all. I have been a lucky guy for the past 10 years to have Liz in my life. We have experienced so much together, and I am so excited for this adventure as parents.

Our Life

Together

We live on a cul-de-sac in the town that Liz grew up in. We live 5

minutes from family on a small street that's part of a bigger neighborhood

filled with children and friends. When we moved here, we coined it the

"waving neighborhood" because everyone waves, gets along, and would be

there if you needed something. We live in a 2,800 square foot house with

4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a dining room ready to celebrate holidays in,

and plenty of room to play, relax, and hang out. We have a big yard, a

fenced in pool, and the perfect spot for a swing set. We take pride in our

home and have completely renovated it and made it our own. We feel

accomplished when we can do home projects and really enjoy doing

them. We are fortunate to be in a town with one of the best school

districts in the state.

We have a family beach house an hour away that we enjoy

getting away to. Summers at the beach are like no other.

So many memories are made having bonfires and roasting

s’mores, taking a walk on the beach, riding the horses at the

carousel, taking the boat out for lunch, and ending the day

laying in bed listening to the waves hit the shore. Liz grew

up going to the beach every summer and we can't wait to

have our child experience this as well.

Meet JacksonIn October of 2019 we were blessed to welcome our

son, Jackson, into our lives. We are committed to

building our family through adoption and want

nothing more than to have our children grow up

together and share that special bond.
