The Logo and Characteristics
This logo was designed to reflect what I think the Centro Hungaro Cultura needs to communicate, as well as to look professional yet approachable. The logo is composed of three basic elements, with each one being treated with equal importances. The logo needs to be readable and it is as the logothe initails ‘CHC’ but presented in a more interesting way as the H is reversed which is more enganing as the audience will have to give it further thought. The colouring of the logo reflects the Hungarian flag. However, the logo also works well in black and white. The last eliment is the circles; these were choosen to give a friendly apprearance of a comfortable enviro-ment that the hungarian cultural centre wishes to pro-mote, the logo is designed to interest younge people as it based on contemporary design elements rather than a traditional one.

Helvetica was chosen because it is a clear and complimentary font. That does not draw attention away from the logo.

As the logo will be used in a variety of media, I have included an example of how the logo could appear on a business card in the standed size of 8.9 cm x 5.1 cm.The size of the address is 7pt in Helvetica regular. There is an a4 letter head layout. The letter type address is in 7pt.
