2. Scouts Ministry→ Thank the Lord for His guidance for the past 10 years service in this ministry, and for brothers and sisters who served diligently. This ministry is to a close due to lack of resources and people available to serve. May God continue to lead us into a new direction in the future. We like to take this opportunity to thank those who served and bring out the best in Scouts in the past.

*October 31st Spiritual Battle Prayer Meeting begins at 7:00pm. The Potluck dinner gathering starts at 5:30-6:45pm. For those who would like to join the potluck, please register with Brother Ping Chan next Sunday after Joint Worship service. Children program starts at 7:00-9:30pm. The theme of the Children’s program is “H + T/T? No Way!” Please invite friends and families to join. (Wednesday night prayer

meeting has been changed to Saturday night)

2. Baptismal Class will be held on October 18th from 3:00-5:00pm in Room 301/302. For those who had signed up please attend.

The Membership Transfer seminars will be held in Room 301/2 on 11/8 & 11/15 (3-6pm). Those who have already been baptized and have attended our church for half a year or more, reached worship attendance at 75%, would like to transfer their membership to our church, and willing to attend the 2 seminars, please register on the Sunday school bulletin board. October 18th is the deadline for application.

3. The Cell Group Leaders Training (Cantonese, Mandarin & English) will be held on Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30pm, in Room 502 on the following dates: 10/20, 27, 11/3, 10, 17, 24 & 12/1 (total of 7 classes). We welcome those who have been baptized, would like to know the structure of cell group; and had the heart to become a cell group leader or Core group member to join. The registration form is posted on the Sunday School Bulletin Board. Next Sunday is the deadline for registration.

Community News

1. Operation Christmas Child: Samaritan's Purse Canada is one of the international relief ministry from Samaritan’s purse. Christmas season is getting close and it is time to show our Christian love to those under-privileged children. For those who had the heart to participate, please pick up your shoe boxes at the ushers table and return them with the shipping fee of $7 (put in the envelope provided) by November 22nd.

2. The Basketball Outreach Ministry is held today from 2:30-5:30pm. We encourage new friends to join.

3. The Yang Tai Chi class is held this Thursday at 7:30pm. We encourage brothers and sisters to invite their non-believe friends and family to join.

4. Praise Dance class is held this Saturday at 10:30am. We encourage new friends to join. For inquiries, please contact Sister Vivian Lau.

5. The Yee Hong Centre will have two worship services for seniors on Saturday, October 24th at 9:45am and 10:30am. These worship services will be led by the Isaac Fellowship (Groups 10, 11 & 12). We welcome your participation. Please contact Brother Tony Ng for details.

Lunch Together will be held today after worship service. For those who purchased tickets and are newcomers to our church, please go to the gym for lunch.

1. Gospel Worship Service is held today at 3:00pm at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre (1051 Glenashton Drive, Oakville). The speaker is Rev. Wong. The topic is: “Jesus’ Discipleship Training (10)-Disciples learn to be Sent”.

2. Sunday School starts at 4:45-5:30pm. We encourage brothers and sisters to invite their non-believer friends to join. Please also pray for this ministry.

3. Parental Workshop of "Parents, thrive your influence (I)" will be held this Friday at 1: 45-3:15pm. The cost is free. Child Care services available. For details, please contact Pastor Grace or Pastor Rhonda.
