British Airways launches a new route from London Gatwick

to Colombo for travel from 14 April 2013

British Airways is launching a new route to Colombo, Sri Lanka from London Gatwick in April. The three-

times-a-week service to the capital city Colombo will start on April 14 and will be operated by a Boeing 777

with three cabins including Club World with fully flat beds.

Flights are already on sale and will operate via Male in the Maldives.

Flights will operate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday via Male. The BA2043 will depart Gatwick at 1935

and the return flight, BA2042, will depart Colombo at 1415.
