Three individual colour schemes have been created for the apartments by the team at Broadway Malyan Architects.

Influenced by both the riverside location of Battersea Reach and its extensive landscaping, the schemes have been inspired by three riverside parks of distinction in London; Richmond Park, Greenwich Park and Kew Gardens.

This colour palette is inspired by the royal hunting grounds of Richmond Park and the warm hues of the fallow and red deer at home within the grasslands. The soft tones evoke images of the deer resting amongst the leaves fallen from ancient trees. In the interior design, the walnut flooring and joinery provides a solid base to the rich texture and colour of the stone, glass and tiles in the rest of the apartment.

kew gArdens

Arriving at Kew Gardens by boat on a misty winters morning sets the scene for the creation of this cool grey scheme. The apartment interior has a backdrop of grey-washed oak floors and subtle taupe carpet. The Royal Botanic greenhouses at Kew are home to one of the world’s finest collections of exquisite tropical flora, and here the selection of dark woods informs the interior palette in the bathrooms with the dark wenge joinery.

The starting point for this interior scheme is the Royal Park of Greenwich, which dates back to 1427 and is home to the Queen’s House designed by the renaissance architect Inigo Jones.
