The “ Therapy through Art Doina Pocioianu” Organisation
• Established in 1998 by psychologist Doina Pocioianu
• The first of it’s kind in Romania• Has helped more than 850 children with
disabilities from orphanages, centres for young offenders, foster and their own families

Beneficiaries:• 22 deaf children• 60 children from the day centre• 12 children with emotional problems• 14 children with autistic elements, hyperactivity, abuse, delay in
development• 12 children from The Complex of Specialized Services• 250 children/young people from Kindergartens, schools, young offenders
institute, placement centres• 25 parents/grandparents from families in crisis situations

reintegrate, not to exclude them.• It is the first of it’s kind in Romania. Helping children
