22STARS Summer 2013 LOOKBOOK MAGAZINE SUMMER 2013 COLLECTION RISING STAR. 22STARS is a Dutch initiative that helps war affected women from Northern Uganda to find a market for their products to rise above poverty. All of our products are handmade from 100% recycled paper by women from the Acholi Quarter in Kampala, Uganda, they fled during the time that Kony was terrorizing the North go Uganda with the LRA to the capital of Uganda. We educate our designers, provide counseling and help them finding a market. We place utmost importance on high quality. Since the jewellery is made from recycled paper it is super light in weight, waterproof and comfortable to wear.TRANSCRIPT
