QCLC HAPPENINGS"The Story"

The LC students are reading "The Story"for Bible this semester. "Each story inthese 31 chapters reveals the God ofgrace, the God who speaks; the God who



acts; the God who listens; the God whoselove for his people culminated in hissacrifice of Jesus, his only Son, to atonefor the sins of humanity."-Max Lucado.

This week we learned about the book ofJudges. Students were introduced to the"Judges": Ehud, Deborah, Gideon andSamson. Each judge shared their storyand how God used ordinary people forextraordinary things. Thanks to MicahWasser, Mr. Fetherolf, Chris Koffel andMrs. Greene for your participation!

"Honduras Follow-Up Presentation" Presented by Learning Communitystudents, Hannah Rotenberger, Luke

COACHES' CORNER

Updates: Volleyball: 10/2 vs. Coventry - MS volleyball Lady Bears played their closestmatch so far this season. The sets were scored 22-25Coventry, 25-14 QCS, and 10-15 Coventry. The Eaglesjust edged out the Bears for the match win.

10/3 vs. Lehigh - MS Lady Bears Volleyball teamtraveled to Lehigh and lost their match 1-2. In thefirst set, the Bears lost 19-25. In the second set theBears won 25-10. The tie break set was 10-15 in favor of Lehigh.

10/6 vs. Concord - MS Volleyball team traveled toWilmington, DE, to get their first win against ConcordChristian. The Bears were in control of the match fromthe beginning with good serves and good returns. TheBears beat the Minutemen 25-11 and 25-15. Way to goLady Bears!

LC:The Lady Bears closed out their inaugural volleyball season with a 3-0 loss toCoventry Christian last Thursday (10/2) and a 3-0 loss to ConcordChristian Monday (10/6). While the losses were disappointing to the team, theBears have continued to grow. We are already looking forward to next seasonwith excitement.

Soccer: 10/3 vs. Lehigh MS boys finished their season with a win 2-0.
