(Enter Aid. Schmid.) Communica tions. Ann Arbor, Mich., June 29th, 1912. To the Honorable Conimon Coun- cil of the City of Ann Arbor. Gentle- men—Under the decree of the circuit court by which the city purchased the old fair ground property, it yi^as agreed that a suitable barn should be maintained thereon for uise of the Ann Arbor Driving club. Last fall this barn was struck by lightning and burnt, and the structure which replaced it has just been completed. Fortunately the Driving club car- ried $1,000.00 insurance on this building, which amount has been turned over to the city clerk. We at- tach hereto bill of Koch Brothers amounting to $1,690.90, and recom- mend payment of the same from the park fund, to which has been credit- ed SI,000.00 above referred to. The contract hag been completed in an entirely satisfactory manner and the buildiing is an ornament and credit to the city park system. Respectfully isubmitted, M. J. Fritz, Chairman of P a r k Commission. Moved by Aid. Lutz that recom- mendation of park coimmission be concurred in and warrant be ordered drawn in favor of Koch Brothers for $1,690.90. Adopted as follows: Yeas, Aid. Schmid, Hochrein, Koernke, Flynn, Ramsay, Lindenschmitt, Schultz, Murray, Prochnow, Pipp, Rash, Lutz, Pres. Mills, 13. Nays, none. (Enter Aid. Sherk.)
