Pay special attention to the él/ella/Usted form. The Z pops up out of nowhere.

Poder (can or to be able to)

Pude (I was able to) Pudiste (you were

Usually poder is followed by another verb in the infinitive. Ex: Pudimos ir al cine

el fin de semana pasado. (We were able to go to the movies last weekend.)

Dar (to give)

Ver (to see) looks just like dar in the preterite—just swap out the D for a V. vi, viste, vio,

vimos, visteis, vieron

Be careful with DIJERON and TRAJERON. The ending is just -ERON
