Summer Update 2009
While many of our friends back in the USA have
already begun school, we are enjoying the last few
weeks of a “Summer Break”. Although Tim and I
have been in language school all Summer, the kids
have enjoyed lots of fun at day camp! They have
had music, art, cooking, and sports classes along
with lots of other fun! Tim and I have now
wrapped up two of our three semesters here at
language school. We have a two week break and
then we will begin our final semester in school.
Although language school continues to be
challenging, we are learning TONS and are now
able to really talk to many local friends and
neighbors in Spanish! All of the students in our
classes are missionaries in training also. It is such
a blessing to be able to be with other families who
are in the same process as we are.
The only thing constant is change……Originally, we
were to be in Costa Rica for one year. As many of
you may know the IMB has been going through some
reorganizational changes. Well, the Louderback’s
have accepted a new position in Panama. We will be
working with a newly organized Urban team. We are
not 100% sure of all the details yet, but we are excited
about the vision of the team! We will be staying in
Costa Rica 6 months after we graduate from language
school for hands on training. So, we will be here in
beautiful Costa Rica until June 2010.

Some prayer requests for our family:
Pray that we will continue to build friendships with the people of our community, and have opportunities to share Jesus with them.
Pray for our language learning. Pray specifically that we would stay focused and finish strong!
Pray for all of the details that are still being worked on regarding our training and new job in Panama.
Pray for the kids as they head back to school in September.
