Outside Lowdwells Cottage sits in good sized gardens with numerous different areas. The driveway is accesssed from the lane via two five bar vehicle gates. The oil fired central heating boiler is to the rear of the garage. To the left of the driveway, in front of the cottage itself, is a patio and then a lawned area. Both are bordered from the lane with self-managing shrub beds and a short stone wall. There is also a pedestrian gate from the lane leading into the patio area. Further still to the left, around a short stone path, is a well-equipped vegetable garden. This has four raised beds and is again bordered by shrubs. There is an attractive seating area under a timber pergola to the far corner - positioned to enjoy lots of direct sunlight. There is a path around the rear of the property for maintenance, bordered by the shrubs and hedges for the neighbouring property's garden. To the right of the cottage, and garage, is an area for a timber shed and log store. The gardens to the right of the cottage are super - starting with a lawn, with shrub borders to both sides and a path leading further into the garden. The path then divides, one side leads to a small foot bridge across the stream and into a small copse area, the other leads down to some stepping stones across the stream. This is an area which has been left to become an extremely natural and tranquil part, with the trickle of the stream running through and much tranuility and privacy. There are also double vehicle gates here providing additional parking for a trailer or boat. In all, the gardens are all south facing and offer lots of potential and further scope, but have been planted by the current owners to be both manageable and colourful.

Directions From Wellington proceed west out on the A38 towards White Ball and turn right at the top of the hill toward Greenham. Take the left hand turn toward Holcombe Rogus and then the next right up the hill. Continue up this lane and over the summit of the hill, crossing the staggered cross roads on the downward incline.
