❖ He was born in Salford, Manchester on the 1st of November 1 1887 and died on the 23 of February 1976.

❖ His full name is Laurence Stephen Lowry.

❖ He was trained at Manchester Municipal college and Salford technical college.

❖ His artwork is permanently on display in the Lowry Centre in Salford; which was named after him, and many people come to admire his beautiful artwork.
