premiered two of Tim'splays, Treasure andLightning Rod, andin 2006 he was thewriter-in -residence
at nearby Franklin &Marshall College. Hisnewest play, Virtue,
was developed inassociation with the
Penn State UniversitySchool of Theatre and
was given a stagedreading in Londonlast June as part of theArch 468 ProspectsSeries. It will havea second readingby the Salt LakeActing Company inOctober. His 2007
book inspired byJoyful Noise, Messiah,the Little-known
Story of Handel'sBeloved Oratorio,
was published bySilverleaf Press. In the
fall of2008, JoyfulNoise received a
staged reading at theHampstead Theatre'sMichael Frayn Spacein London. Despised,
his screenplay of JoyfulNoise, is optionedby Slickrock Films.With a doctorate
from the Universityof Michigan, Timdirects the playwritingprogram and teachesdramatic literature at
