TITLE OF SOFTWARE: Grammar Practices and Quizzes
LEVEL OF STUDENTS: Lower Secondary TIME REQUIRED: 30 mins for
STATION-BASED APPROACH
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BEFORE THIS LESSON:
1. Sentence construction.
OBJECTIVES: Students at the end of the lesson will be able to:a) identify words and articles as adjectives
b) identify verbs that are adjectives
c) brainstorm words that can be used to describe pictures
d) create sentences using adjectives
For next lesson:
c) identify angles which are corresponding angles and alternate angles given two transversals
LESSON PROPER:

Teacher to ask a volunteer to
come forward and to ask

Activities Teacher divides the class into
4 stations. Teacher to giveinstructions and to time eachactivity to be 20 minutes and

Station 1: - Teacher to get
some colour pictures from
magazine / newspaper.
Station 1: Given two pictures,
students will brainstorm to come upwith as many adjectives as possibleto describe the pictures. The team
that comes up with the most number
of relevant adjectives shall bewinners.
Station 2: Students are given a setof 10 adjectives and to write a short
