QUICK REVIEW.WHAT IS PROPHECY?

Prophecy is simply: Encouraging, exhorting and comforting people. Restoring the image of God in people. Showing people what God has for them. Telling people how God sees them. Waking up in people passion for God. Setting the captives free. Removing ashes and covering people with the

mantle of joy.

PROPHECY IS SIMPLY: Bringing healing to people. Is a communication of Spirit to spirit. Prophecy comes from the desire to love people; From the desire to encourage and to bless them. Prophecy comes in a spontaneous way, because

you are becoming more and more Christ centered.

Prophecy is about restoring dignity, confidence and self respect in people.

IN ORDER TO RESTORE PEOPLE, WE NEED TO BE RESTORED.

Now days we are constantly bombarded by different Social and Communication media.

The devil is using this industry to bring auto-rejection, condemnation, low self esteem and all kind of negative things into the mind of people.

We need to filter what comes in through our ears, and be centered in what the Word of God says.

SEEN THINGS IN A DIFFERENT WAY Change the way you look at things and

you will perceive things that you have missed at the beginning.

Focus on a different point of the picture and you will have a different perspective.

Get closer or far away from, scan your vision in a methodic way and you will find things that you didn’t know they were there.

Are you able to see the two faces?

The face of the old lady?The silhouette of the young lady?

Tips:•The eye of the old lady turns into the young lady’s left ear.•The mouth of the old lady turns into the necklace of the young lady.•The bump on the old lady’s nose turns into the nose of the young lady.

The frog and the horse.

Tip:

To see the horse, see the back legs of the frog as the ears of the horse.

The shadow of the frog turns into the horses mane.

If it is hard for you to see it, turn the whole picture 90 degrees to the left and you will see it.

CAN YOU SEE THE BABY? THE SILHOUETTE AND THE HANDS OF THE BABY ARE FORM BY THE DRY BRANCHES ON THE LEFT SIDE

OF THE MAIN THREE, THE LEGS AND FEET ARE AT THE RIGHT SIDE WHERE THE THREE GOES OVER THE WATER, THE BACK IS THE

FOREGROUND FORM BY THE WATER AND THE SOLID EDGE.

This one is obviously more easy.

The hair of the lady turns into the face of a bald man.

The lace holding the hair turns into the man’s moustache,

Can you see the hidden tiger?

Tip:Center your look into the tiger’s body, got it?

No?OK then, have a closer look to the strips of the tiger, you could read written with them “THE HIDDEN TIGER”

THE NATURAL FIRST, THEN THE SPIRITUAL. Just as in the examples above, we need

to train our spiritual sight and all our senses.

We need to move from the natural realm into the Spiritual realm.

“Lord open my eyes that I may see your wonderful glory” should be one of our constant prayers/

CHANGING OUR WAY TO LOOK AT THINGS.

We need to look at things through the eyes of the Spirit and not the eyes of the flesh

God is the one that will give us revelation of the things to speak to a person.

The great prophets did this mistake as well, they learned from their mistakes.

1 SAMUEL 16:6-13 (NKJV)

6 So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the LORD’s anointed is before Him!”

7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

DON’T LOOK AT CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS.

In Israel’s Old Testament times the elder son was the one who would have all the rights and benefits.

However the Lord is looking far more than just external appearances or traditions.

He doesn’t look the external, but the interior.

He looks the heart disposition. Samuel failed on this one.

1 SAMUEL 16: 10-11 (NKJV)  10 Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass

before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The LORD has not chosen these.” 11 And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” 

REJECTED BY MEN, ELECTED BY GOD.

David was forgotten by his father, he clearly was being rejected and despised.

Age is not an impediment for a higher call. God does not want our abilities or talents. He can give them to anyone He wants. He wants my disponibility, my acceptance

to be molded so I can do His will. His agenda and not my agenda.

DAVID ANOINTED BY THE PROPHET

1 SAMUEL 16:12-13 (NKJV) 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now

he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

ONCE ELECTED, YOU WILL BE EXALTED.

The prophet stood up in front of the young man, obeying the word of the Lord.

He poured oil of anointing on him. The rejected one was suddenly exalted

in front of every one. God knows what you do in secret. The time you spend with Him in

intimacy, will determine anointing, virtue and power.

2 SAMUEL 7:1-3 (NKJV) 7 Now it came to pass when the king was

dwelling in his house, and the LORD had given him rest from all his enemies all around, 2 that the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.”

3 Then Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the LORD is with you.”

2 SAMUEL 7: 4-6NEW CENTURY VERSION (NCV)

4 But that night the LORD spoke his word to Nathan, 5 “Go and tell my servant David, ‘This is what the LORD says: Will you build a house for me to live in? 6 From the time I brought the Israelites out of Egypt until now I have not lived in a house

ALLOW GOT TO DO THINGS HIS WAY.

Sometimes we may try to predict what the Lord will do, based in the ways he has done before.

But we cannot venture to predict what God will do.

He is doing new things all the time. We humbly need to wait for Him to tell us what

to do. Then we can let His love flow out of our hearts.

2 SAMUEL 9:6-7 (NKJV) MEPHIBOSHETH

6 Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said, “Mephibosheth?”

And he answered, “Here is your servant!” 7 So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will

surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

FAVOR OF A KING CHANGES EVERYTHING

Mephibosheth had a very poor image of himself.

He was leaving in fear, he couldn’t believe the generous offer of the King.

He look at himself as a dog; not a simple dog but even a dead dog.

The king didn’t pay attention to his negative statement and faithful to his promise cover him with unmerited favor

LOOK AT YOU THROUGH HIS EYES. We don’t need to live remembering our

wrong past. The KING of all kings has bestowed His

favor upon us. We just need to accept it, put on the New

Person and come into His banquet table. There is a seat for each one of us at His

table. Look at you with spiritual eyes.

Lets look at this instances how people in the Old Testament looked the natural as a first step to look into the supernatural.

MOSES AND THE BURNING BUSH EXODUS 3:2

Moses realized that the burning bush was something different.

He approached to investigate it. As he moved towards what he saw as

supernatural. God met him, empowered him and

commissioned to take His people out of slavery.

TWO DIFFERENT REPORTS. NUMBERS 13

CALEB AND JOSHUA, DIFFERENT SPIRIT 12 people looked the same and gave

their report. 10 chose to see just the natural letting

fear grave their hearts, stealing the blessing from those who heard them.

2 chose to look into the supernatural trusting the word of God, being promoted by God to see His promise fulfilled in their lives.

JEREMIAH AND THE ALMOND TREE

JEREMIAH AND THE BOILING POT.

In both cases The Lord explained to Jeremiah the meaning of what he was seeing.

Sometimes we can have spiritual visions, but God is who will give us the right interpretation.

Job 42:5My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.

Longing that Job statement be true in our own lives.
