Forging & Casting Division OUR HISTORY 公司发展历程

The Lovere plant is established by entrepreneur Giovanni Andrea Gregorini.

1856 1907

Following amassive

investment plan, begins a

large-scale production

of train wheels and axles.

1990

Within the framework of the reorganisation plan for state-owned steel mills, Lovere Sidermeccanicais privatisedand is acquired by the Lucchini Group.

The company expands its activitiesabroad through the acquisition

of 2 plants manufacturing wheel setsin the UK and Sweden

(Lucchini UK and Lucchini SE,respectively).

2000

A new plant is founded for the production of wheel sets in Poland, initially situated in Warsaw, it will be moved to Minsk Mazowiecki in 2010.

2002 2005

70% of the Lucchini Group is sold to Russian

company Severstal.

2007

The Lovere company is acquired on a 100% basis by SINPAR Spa, a company wholly owned by the Lucchini family.

A joint venture is established in China with Zhibo Transportand a 150 million Euros investment plan is launched to upgrade and modernisethe Lovere site.

An extraordinaryshareholders’ meeting

resolves on the new company name – Lucchini RS – and a new logo.

2008

A new rolling system for train wheels is inaugurated and sales subsidiary Lucchini IN is established in India.

2010

A sales subsidiary named Lucchini Beijing (Lucchini CN) is established in China.

2011 2012

Inauguration of a new automated axle processing and overhaul system.

Foundation of Lucchini CEin Austria and LBXin Belgium.

2013 2014

Production gets underway at the new axle forge.

Lucchini Mamé Forge is born of an agreement between two companies with century long histories: Mamé Group and Lucchini RS.

2015 2016 2017

Lucchini NA and Lucchini Tool Steel

are established, in North America

and Italy, respectively.

Lucchini SA is established in South Africa.

ESR ESKYLOS 2344 DC-HDC

The most required steel for die-casting applications worldwide (USA). Excellent heat-treatment capability. Controlled grain growth during heattreatment (improved hot strength). 该钢种是美国市场最通用的压铸模具用钢。非常优秀的热处理性能，热处理过程中控制晶粒长大以改善高温强度。

ESR ESKYLOS OptiMo

Improved thermal stability and hot strength with excellent toughness (compared to 1.2343). Recommended for long-run dies and forcomponents made in Al/Mg that need to be painted (smooth surfaces). Suitable also for large dies. Not recommended for small productionlots (200-2000 pcs.). Not recommended for non-thermo-regulated dies. 该钢种较之1.2343，具有更高的热稳定性和高温强度，并具备非常出色的韧性。推荐用于长期生产，铸件表面需喷涂的铝镁合金压铸模。适于制作大型模具。不建议用于小批量生产（200-2000件）的压铸模，也不建议用于没有温度调节装置的压铸模。

Similar hot-strength and improved toughness (compared to 1.2367). Suitable for long-run dies. Suitable for the manufacturing for Al/Mgthick components, even with a complex geometry. Suitable for medium-large size dies (up to 2 tonnes). Not recommended for smallproductions lots (200-2000 pcs.). Not recommended for non-thermo-regulated dies. Not recommended for the manufacturing of thincomponents made in Al/Mg. 该钢种的高温强度与1.2367相近，但具备更高的韧性。适于长期生产的压铸模具，尤其适用于生产厚壁复杂形状铝镁合金件的压铸模。适于中大型压铸模（最大可达2吨）。不建议用于小批量生产（200-2000件）的压铸模，不建议用于没有温度调节装置的压铸模，亦不推荐用于生产薄壁铝镁合金件的压铸模。
