Welcome to Jackson, the largest city in Mississippi, a city with history, art, passion, hospitality, but moreover, a

“city with a soul.”

Jackson’s suburbs have experienced fast growth over the past few

decades, and Ridgeland is no exception.

Northpark Mall is located in Ridgeland, about 10 miles outside of the

state capital. Ridgeland, Mississippi is a family friendly,

c o m m u n i t y c e n t e r e d c i t y,and is one of the higher end neighborhoods for young professionals

in the Jackson area. Almost half of the residents over 25 are college

graduates, and the median income is much higher than average. As a

result, real estate in Ridgeland is also relatively expensive for Jackson

area.

The largest population segment in Ridgeland is between the ages of

25 and 29, and the neighborhood really caters to this market segment.

Many of Jackson’s coff ee shops, retail stores, and restaurants are located

in Ridgeland. In addition, the historic Natchez Trace and the Barnett

Reservoir are located in Ridgeland and off er great opportunities for

outdoor recreation.
