Welcome to Mission Aurora Week 2016
Welcome to Mission Aurora Week!
On behalf of the Mission Aurora Lead Team, I would like to thank you
for joining us this week as we seek to love and serve our city. We are
very excited to see how God will use us as we partner together to
share the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed across Aurora.
This year, we have five churches coming together on over thirty ser-
vice opportunities to bless our city. God has placed all of us in Auro-
ra for a reason. We are God’s ambassadors and missionaries in our
local communities, and Mission Aurora Week is a tangible way for us
to be His hands and feet to our next door neighbors. God is already
out there working, and we are privileged to join him as he expands
his Kingdom.
We’d also like to thank Matt Woodley for joining us as our speaker
this week. Matt lives right here in Aurora, and he is passionate about
sharing Jesus in this city. We look forward to what he has to teach us
from the book of Matthew about what it means to “Go Local” for
Jesus.

Go Local!

Let’s be open to what God has for us this week, and let’s be open
to making new friends as we serve alongside each other. Nothing
is more fruitful than when God brings his church together for a
common purpose, and First Pres is honored to host this Kingdom-
Work. So without further ado, let’s get to it!
