Submitting supporting material

In addition to the Application Form (pages 1 to 4) and Material Sheet (page 5) you are also required to submit the relevant supporting material, as detailed on the Material Sheet, clearly marked with your name and course specialisation. Word document material can be submitted via email but films, music manuscripts and portfolios will need to be posted or delivered by hand.

do not attach any additional written material that is not listed as required on the material sheet.

avoid sending master copies of your work because entry materials are not normally returned, with the exception of portfolios. Please advise us if you are submitting materials which cannot be easily reproduced, e.g. original drawings, which you wish to be returned to you. There will be a charge for the return of oversize or overweight parcels. If possible, please make arrangements for collecting them in person if possible. Clearly write your name, specialisation and return address on the outside of all packages. The NFTS cannot accept any responsibility for lost, damaged or unclaimed work.

Overseas candidates must also mark postal packages “Student Application – no commercial value” in order to avoid customs clearance charges. The NFTS will not pay customs charges on behalf of applicants. Please note this Diploma course is only available to UK and EU applicants. Students requiring a Tier 4 visa may not apply.

Disability and Learning Difference

Your residency status affects your entitlement to funding and possibly your Tuition Fee level. If you are a UK citizen you should enter “UK resident” in the box on page one. You will be required to provide evidence that you have been ordinarily resident in the UK during the three year period immediately prior to the commencement of your course in order to receive Home fees status and any possible maintenance support.

International students who require a Tier 4 visa are not able to apply for this Diploma Course.
