Classes for Intermediate/Newcomer Players Barbara Terhune will start a new, really fun, no-stress beginners class on Thursday Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. at M.A. Lightman Bridge Club, Inc. This class is for folks who have never played or who have played a few times. The class will meet twice in December, take a holiday break, and resume Jan. 14. There will be a total of six lessons for $60. She needs at least four students for the class to make. Barbara can be reached at 901-482-2580. Additionally, M.A. Lightman Bridge Club, Inc. will host day and evening classes for beginners and intermediates in December and January. Unit 144 Election Results & Annual Meeting Notice The newly elected 2016 board members for Unit 144 are Barbara Johnson, Ernie Seger and Bob Williams. The annual meeting originally scheduled for Nov. 4 did not have a quorum in attendance. It has been rescheduled for Jan. 8, 2016, at 5 p.m. at the Nate Silverstein Sectional Tournament. A letter will be sent to members regarding the meeting 30 days in advance.
