■ Recognize importance of giving everyone similar opportunities and level the playing field

How this applies to Haverford

● Great education makes great leaders○ Going to be making the decisions for the future

■ Important to respect and treat everybody the way they deserve

What we have accomplished so far

● Assembly with 8th grade right before break○ Gave similar presentation○ Had open discussion about equity and inequities○ Successful buy-in from the kids

Moving forward

● 1-2 advisory periods with the kids discussing inequities○ Productive conversation○ Survey from the kids for feedback○ Figuring out a way to continue these discussions in the MS

● Learn cultures from around the world● Experience a new environment● Make friendships that last● Help the community
