Dear Friends and Colleagues, a warm welcome to the congresses „Ultrasound meets Magnetic Resonance“ and ESMRN and the course on Fetal brain development that serves as a link between the two events. While the prenatal conference takes place in Vienna for the 5th time, and internationally for the 6th time, it is the first time for the congress and course of the ESMRN to be held in Vienna. Participants of both events share mutual interests and we see it as a welcome duty to bring everybody working in the field together and hopefully initiate scientific exchange between all involved specialities. In addition, we do hope you will enjoy Vienna in early June where the parks and gardens invite for a stroll and the Vienna Festival, the „Wiener Festwochen“, offer a rich cultural program. We welcome you cordially to Vienna and wish you a pleasant stay with enthusiastic discussions and social and cultural highlights.
