Problem Description Compressor oscillate on high frequency, The cable touch the metal cut end side and frazzle;

Problem reason When the air-condition work, the compressor oscillate on high frequency, the cable touch the metal cut end side, long after the cable is fraying;

Improve Step Cover the cable by sheathing and fix the cables leaving away from the compressor, the tubes and fan box etc. every part can oscillates when BTS working .

Problem Description Sometimes the compressor maybe not startup

Problem reason The compressor starting torsional force is not enough;

Problem Description External fan reverse by outside force;

Problem reason When the external fan not work, it can turn by outside force, such as wind, If it achieve higher rate in wrong direction, Now Startup, It will not stop;

Improve Step Replace Blower capacitor from 4uF to 7uF

Problem Description Compressor start/stop frequent;

Problem reason Compressor start/stop control by cooling T-Start, Over temperature it start to work, under temperature it stop to work, Old BTS use 3C T-Start, so compressor start/stop frequent;

Improve Step Replace the cooling T-Start from 3C to 10C

Problem Description If Heater startup, BTS will shutdown;

Problem reason The wet summer season of Cuba is between May and October, and the drier winter season runs from November through April. The average temperature reaches 27°C (81°F) in July and August and 22°C (72°F) in February. The heater do not startup all year, If heater startup, BTS will shutdown by over temperature;

MaintenanceMaintenance – Pre-rework Inspection1、Walk around the cabinet and record the information of the cabinet, installation and appearance of the cabinet, note anything abnormal found in the “site form”, take photo for them if possible;

2、 Record the ambient temperature and check if the Air-Condition is working or not, measure and record the AC input voltage and frequency;

3、Write down the model and serial number of the cabinet and Air-Condition, check the transformer and the 2 T-Start setting;

Remark 1、 Information of the cabinet, installation and appearance of the cabinet;2、 Air-Condition is working or not;3、 The transformer and the 2 T-Start setting is correct or not;


MaintenanceMaintenance –Install HSK4、 Open the front door and switch off (or remove power cable of ) the Air-Condition;5、Move to the enclosure side and remove the access panel, keep the 4 screws for later using;

6、 Install the Hard Start Kit (HSK)

1) Install HSK using M5 nut; 2) Remove Rubber Boot on Capacitor and place one wire on each terminal; 3) Replace Rubber Boot. 4) Route wires so they do not touch metal, use wires ties if needed7、 Replace Blower capacitor from 4uF to 7uF


MaintenanceMaintenance –Replace the Cooling T-Start 8、 Replace the Cooling T-Start and Label 1) Find the Cooling T-stat(On the left of the bracket) and check if it is a 3C T-stat or 10C T-stat, replace 3C T-Stat with a new 10C T-stat as following steps; 2) Disconnect the wires on the 3C T-stat and then loosen the 3 screws（ keep for later using) which fix the T-stat on the bracket, take out the T-stat by move it downwards; 3) Install the 10C T-stat on the bracket in reverse order, and re-connect the 2 wires. Check the part number of the T-stat should be 10-1061-13, wire tie she sensing line, Then replace the label with new 10C T-stat label.. 4) Fully turn the T-stat clockwise then paint the end which point to 27C on the label, and set the T-Stat on 35C(proper setting).


MaintenanceMaintenance –Cancel Heater9、 Cancel Heater Remove the Heater AC input Cable and Route wires;


MaintenanceMaintenance –Cover the Cable by Sheathing10、 Cover the Cable by Sheathing 1) Inspect the wire routing of the ambient side, if The wires touch the copper without sheathing, cover it by sheathing; 2) Check the TXV if there was a wire tie to fix the capillary on the copper tube, If not fix it; 3) Check the cable of external fan, keep wires are tied so they do not rub against other parts（ especially to the compressor deck).


MaintenanceMaintenance –Finish Inspection11、 Put the cover and tighten screws, Clean the excess silicon glue on the screws or else in advance;12 、 Switch on (plug in the power cable of) the Air-Condition and do common inspection to it and the cabinet, confirm Air-Condition work;13、 Close the front door and telephone to BSC confirm the BTS no alarm and work perfectly, then go to next site;14、 In one month after maintenance, often go to the BSC to confirm all the BTS work perfectly;
