Wichita Sports Forum• Primary function to host tournaments and events with at least 20% of visitors

travel from outside Kansas and 30% of visitors outside MSA

• Wichita Sports Forum has demonstrated success in hosting regional and national indoor tournaments in it’s current facility

• The success of the Sports Forum was a crucial element of State approval for STAR bond financing

• WSF had 1.2 – 1.4 million attendees in 2017

Management Agreement

• WSF to manage daily activities including scheduling regional and national tournaments and events

• Responsible for operations and maintenance of the facility including operations of fields and equipment

• Operating expenses will include utilities, security, insurance and maintenance

Management Agreement• Complex will be available for 10 days per year for City events

• City will not pay field rental but will pay the additional costs related to the events

• Championship field will be available for 15 days per year for the Stryker Field Charitable Trust• Trust donated the land to the City with agreement to use championship field

• All parties to meet annually to coordinate a master calendar of events

• Three 5-year renewal options

• Can be terminated with 24 month notice following the fifth year of

operations. Requires City Council action.
