MANE CHOSEN AS A JUNIOR LEAGUE COMMUNITY PARTNER
“TEAL” JOINS THE HERD!
Lexlin Gypsy Vanner Ranch of Rockwood, Tennessee has donated 2-year-old “Teal” to MANE!! MANE expects this kind, gentle, and patient filly to be every
bit as successful and valuable as “Swoopes” already is to the program. “Swoopes” became one of MANE’s equine partners as the result of Lexlin’s 2016 nationwide Facebook voting contest. •

JOSIE IS MANE’S HORSE OF THE YEAR
Josie joined MANE’s herd in 2015. She charms staff, students, and volunteers with personality overflow! Josie is steady and trustworthy in lessons, which makes
her the go-to horse for new riders, timid riders, small riders, and adult riders. Please show Josie some extra love back in the barn! •
THANK YOU SUNSET ROTARY
The Sunset Rotary of Montgomery has raised funds for MANE to purchase a commercial cooling fan to be used in the barn during the hot summer months. This fan will make a huge, comfortable
difference, especially during summer camps. Staff, students, volunteers, and horse are very grateful. •
MINERAL BLOCKS PROVIDED BY RIDLEY BLOCK OPERATIONSMANE staff and the horses would like to thank Ridley Block Operations for the donation of a pallet of Futurity Precise Hoof and Health Premium mineral blocks. The MANE horses started enjoying these mineral blocks in the pastures the last week of June. Glossier hair coats, and stronger hooves are just around the corner!
