The ASSEMBLER, the configuration tool for our outlet boxes, utilizes so-called macros, small programs that simplify the useful features and ease the operation. Among others, the macros are used to copy the image elements of the

ASSEMBLER. Depending on the security settings in your Excel installation, it might be restricted to run macros or not

possible. You can check this easily. When opening the assembler you see one of the two screens shown:

1. The ASSEMBLER start screen remains visible even after about 5 seconds.



2. You will get a message that macros are disabled, because the macro security setting Excel has been set very high.



To adjust the security setting, follow these steps:

Confirm the message with OK.



Click on Tools, then Options.

Please click on the Options dialog box, click Macro Security.



Now you can check to see which setting is currently up to date.



Please adjust the security level to Medium and click OK.

Also confirm the next dialog box with OK and close the file ASSEMBLER.



Now open the ASSEMBLER again. Excel notes now that macros are included in the assembler, and you receive the following security alert. Please click Enable/Allow Macros.

After successful activation of macros the splash screen appears for a short time, and all functions are available.
